Little ride today with my neighbor Art to Andrews AFB, MD. I was stationed there for two years back in the late '70 with an F-4 squadron, but my official bird was the Harrier. Great to see the hovering jet again and shake hands with some of the new ordnance Marines. When I asked the young Marine to finish this sentence, " If you ain't ordnance you.........? " He quickly responded, " Ain't sh*t " . I knew right then that he was ordnance. Short ride but the destination was worth the little effort: http://drop.io/anjivk6

Seven of my ten years active duty were spent on the A6. (Thus my "handle"). When i left the Marine Corps in 1972 the Harrier was killing a lot of Marine pilots without any help from the enemy. It developed into one fine aircraft. Chopin, thanks for the memories and thanks for your service.

Semper Fi and 10-4. I arrived at Cherry Pit, NC in 1975 and they had just buried one before my arrival. '74-'80 6531
