I need feedback about whether 2006 Goldwing wheels can be modified to my new 2010 Goldwing wheels to accommodate the TPM sensors. I just purchased 2010 and have spare 2006 wheels.

Wingrider10, I just looked in my service manual under tpms and it says that you should only use "Honda Genuine TPMS specific wheels".
Since tpms wasn't available in 06 I don't think they'll work. Also says that use of other wheels may cause tpms indicator to illuminate.

Thanks sr71 It does appear that the wheels are similar. It would take some machine work around the area where the sensors mount but I am not positive that is the case. It is not a problem getting a rear wheel from a trike shop. I cannot locate a front wheel so I am going to attempt to modify the wheels if possible......wingrider
