fossil92 05-05-2010, 06:26 PM Glad to see these guys associated with the site. A good bunch of us buy from them. So it's great for them to sponsor the site as well.
Two Wheel Wing 05-05-2010, 06:39 PM Welcome. Looking forward to some great sales....
Thrasherg 05-06-2010, 06:20 PM I have never used them before, but they seem to have many items to help empty my wallet!!
Great to see them supporting a wing site, especially one this good.:)
bossdog 05-06-2010, 07:27 PM Thanks for the info. I look forward to dealing with them.
XFIREN 05-07-2010, 04:16 PM Not everyone is as excited about them as others. Had a very poor experience with them, order 2 orders with them approx. $1,400.00 worth the goods. After 3 weeks they still had not shipped an item, when I called them they said they we're waiting for 1 item from each order to come in. Now I'm sure that I should not have to suggest to them how to run there business but...I had to make the suggestion that they should ship all the items that were in stock as 1 order and when the B/O items came in ship them as the 2nd. The Canadian rep., 1 by the way and you have to speak to him and meet his schedule, said he would do that but after an additional week still did not ship anything. Disgusted with the whole experience I call to speak with the rep. one last time but, with a very busy schedule and difficulty in contacting this rep. I decided to cancel the order to spur a reaction, but he could have cared less and I went through with the cancellation and bought local.
Just another customer seems to be their attitude and if you're not in a hurry, their prices are decent. To bad cause to date i've bought over $3,000.00 worth the item's just not from them. Good Luck

Nellamit 05-16-2010, 08:50 PM I'm curious as to why Wingstuff does not accept paypal. I recently had a security problem with my credit card and am reluctant to enter my info online if I can avoid it. I'd like to order some headsets from Wingstuff but will probably buy them from a local dealer at a much higher price to avoid entering my credit card info online.
nztom 05-17-2010, 02:32 AM Iam from NewZealand and ride my wing in Austraila for 5 months of the year and buy heaps from Wing stuff and cant complane about the service its the best , sometimes theres a probleme with a part and they fix, its replaced no charge, free freight, [which is not cheap to Oss] not a probleme cant recomend them enough.
Wingstuff.com 05-17-2010, 11:20 AM Please be assured that Wingstuff.com and it's sister sites are top notch when it comes to security. That's our business. "Paypal" & "Bill Me Later" options should be up and running by the end of the summer. As well as real time order status when you log into the website.
Nellamit 05-17-2010, 07:27 PM I don't doubt wingstuff security at all, but you have to understand that the rest of us may be using computers at time that have less than perfect security. The end of summer is a little late for me. I intend to buy the stuff I need next week so I can use it all summer.
Comanche 05-17-2010, 07:47 PM Just posted on another board the I have had placed three orders with direct line parts and each one of them had a item back ordered when they told me the items were in stock. Two weeks ago I orderd a Honda CB radio, the Honda antenna and the lower cable. The radio and antenna came, but the lower cable is on back order. I was told when I ordered the stufff it was ll in stock. I called them today and was told it was BO, and it would ship UPS ground when it came in. They just do not seem to care.

I see Hal is getting pistol whipped over there.

That was and is not my intention. I was told items were in stock and then was told they were on back order. When I asked Chris at their store why I was basically lied to he said that is the way things are done at Motorcycle on line stores. I emailed Hal, but he has not responded to me and I provided my personal cell number.

You didn't whip him. You were just adding your personal experiences. I think the thread is gone by now anyway. Their is well known bumper sticker that says " America..... Love it or Leave it " . Well this country, or any enterprise, was never made better by complacency or quiet acceptance of the status quo. Adding your personal frustration to the topic was completely appropriate . My " pistol whip " analogy was just a friendly warning to our good friends and sponsors at WingStuff !

cliffusaf 06-17-2010, 11:01 PM I just bought and installed an Add On brand Chrome tiiming cover on my GL1800. I've ridden it twice and noticed this evening when I got off of the bike, the cover was leaning up against the front fender--it had come loose and fortunately I didn't lose it. It appears the cover has plenty of tape to hold it on, BUT....when the chrome cover is installed it doesn't appear to slide up tight against the timing cover; thus all the tape apparently does not stick. A couple of observations: 1) the chrome cover is notched at about the 12 o'clock position, but on closer inspection of the bike, it appears there are other items that are on the perimeter of the timing cover recessed somewhat where they are hard to see on a cursory look and they are apparently preventing the cover from sliding up far enough to actually be secured tight with all the tape. What is the Wingstuff solution--I just read another review on the Wingstuff web site where someone else is experiencing the same problem! Please provide some advice/help.
Wingstuff.com 06-18-2010, 03:27 PM Cliffusaf, please give Don an email at; don@wingstuff.com he might have a few solutions for you...
chopin114 06-18-2010, 06:07 PM Feed back to WingStuff. Can you tell me why when ordering the Kuryakyn Highway Floor Boards or the Ergo II pegs, they come with standard 6 in. extensions and the 4 in. extension are a separate purchase of $45.00 ?
Wingstuff.com 06-18-2010, 07:02 PM Chopin114,
That's how Kuryakyn packages and sells them. Whether I agree or disagree this is how it is. :-)

Thank you. Your answer is a reiteration of my hunch. But that being said: Don't YOU have any influence ? WingStuff does not have to defend itself here against individual buyers personal preference as a Wholesale Retail Outlet (you are tops in my ordering) I just find it hard to comprehend that your status has no influence on the manufacture option item. Of course, what American subsidiary can gripe to Mother China.

We (wingstuff.com) are very involved with many manufacturers in regards to products and development of products. We listen to our customers and develop our own opinions on items as we too ride.
The reason for us to be involved in this forum, is to better listen to the customer base, pass it along to the manufacturers, and hopefully down the line a product or service will come out of a discussion that we all might have on this forum. They (manufacturers) read these forums too.
Chopin114 thanks for the POSITIVE question (or thought). We like this board and want to be as active as we can because of how the members act towards each other and the vendors that support their hobby.

joe in calif 07-26-2010, 07:38 PM Wing stuff is a great shop, it's about 75 miles from my house and on Saturday mornings a group of about 20 regulars show up for coffee and donuts and to kick tires. Rick, the owner is a stand up guy and I have known him for about 25 years when he was parts guy at Huntington Honda. I still I have the first Honda reflective jacket he sold me. They run sale a lot and open house about once a year with great sales, vendors and free food!! Their service dept is top notch with well qualified mechanics. The place is always clean and well stocked. A friend of mine just bought a handlebar mounted J&M CB for his ST1300 from Wing Stuff and they sold it $50.00 cheaper than if he was to buy it direct from J&M.
Joe In Calif know on their message board as "CALIFORNIA ORANGE"
This is from their first sidewalk sale in 08

Small business is what makes America Great and employees the most people.
chopin114 07-26-2010, 07:50 PM 75 miles from WingStuff , Joe ? I live about 3 days UPS from there. I should think that WingStuff would consider a retail outlet on the east coast. " Virginia is for Lover's of WingStuff. "
Wingstuff.com 07-26-2010, 08:46 PM Joe, Thanks for the support!! Our next Open House will be in December. Bigger and Better than last year. More deals and Vendor support..

TinyWWWarrior 03-19-2011, 02:04 AM Well I have ordered a few thing for my 95 Goldwing from other sites in the US in the past and they have sent my good by registered post which is good as they will arrives with in 10 working days or more after the order is completed. But last time I ordered some parts was from Wing Stuff. Now they had a few parts on back order which seem to take a few weeks to show up which was ok as they were cheaper than some of the other sites but what got me the most was when they shipped it out as I was able to track it all the way from there US store to the Fedex depo here in Australia..(which is a lot better than by the US postial services & Australia Post services) Now all I am waiting for is the aussie dollar to be above the US dollar again to order more stuff from them..

Buzzy 03-23-2011, 04:11 PM I placed an order for the Rivco armrest back on 1/26/11. At the time there was suppose to be a 5-6 week back order.
Do you have any information from Rivco when we can expect these to ship to you so you can ship to us?
I tried calling wingstuff direct but been getting a busy signal all day. Not sure if it's a phone line problem on my end or what.
Thanks
Wingstuff.com 03-23-2011, 04:37 PM Buzzy,
I have just spoken with Rivco, and they are still in production on the armrests. Please email Susanne here at wingstuff and she can update you on the status. susanne@wingstuff.com
I was told 3-4 weeks out. There is a rebate of $25.00 from Rivco because of the wait. Sorry, sometime we are at the mercy of the manufacturer just like you..

Oh I wasn't griping at all. I have no problem with the back-order and I know it's not wingstuff's fault.
I have had nothing but great experiences with you guys!
I called Rivco too this morning but this time I got someone who was not too easy to deal with. Last couple of times I talked with them, I think "Chad" was the guy I talked too and he said 1st week in April.
So I am guessing we are looking at middle or end of April then.
Thanks for the update, I never thought to try and email you guys.
Wingstuff.com 03-23-2011, 05:28 PM email is always better!! ;-)
TinyWWWarrior 08-19-2011, 07:54 PM Good to see Wing Stuff is associated with the site. I have bought a few things for my '95 Goldwing from there site in the past year and I am waiting for my latest order to arrive from the States with some more goodies to replace an add to my bike... The thing I do like about Wing Stuff is that all there orders are sent by Fedex couriers which means there goods arrive a lot sooner here in Australia than some of the other Goldwing sites as they ship by US Postal Services. The other thing I like about Fedex is that you can track your order from the time it leaves Wing Stuff to your door :)
knelson1969 08-20-2011, 06:00 AM I ordered a Frog Togg rain Suit and a Butler cup and holder the suit came in by cruise missile it was so fast the Butler came in on time. I even spoke with a counter person who was helpful. this is a great place and I will buy from them again.
fossil92 08-20-2011, 06:22 AM Another couple of GWOF endorsements of an extremely good company & one of our Site Sponsors.

namelama 08-26-2011, 12:28 AM I've used wingstuff almost exclusively. They're local for me and Dane is a wealth of information if you have the opportunity to speak with him. He'll flat out tell you what works and what hasn't worked very well for their customers. I appreciate an honest and practical salesperson. Wide variety of items available and I've been to their shop it is a busy little place. I would recommend wingstuff to anyone.
Dookoo 08-26-2011, 01:31 AM I've pretty much purchased every item for my bike at Winstuff. Service is great and if you are a VIP member, prices are sometimes the best you can find. I've had backorder issues with some GoPro batteries but it wasn't Wingstuff's fault as there were no batteries to be had anywhere. Everything else, I've gotten within days.
