How-ya and welcome to GWOF! Where in BC? There's a couple other BC members on the forum (Smithers, etc.). Hope you don't have the fires this year to contend with. There's a GWRRA sponsored event on Victoria Day weekend in Salmon Arm if you haven't heard about it already. Going to try and hit that one myself if I can get a certain someone's approval.

Living in Kimberley
Where do you hail from in Alberta?
I know about the short season and big bugs was from Sundre
That sounds like a good reason to ride to Salmon Arm on a "long" w/e
Enjoy

We're a couple hours North of Edmonton. Kimberly is fantastic! Love the Bavarian theme of the place. Great skiing, riding and all. You're fortunate to live in such a picturesque location. Actually the bugs here aren't all THAT big, the grasshoppers never got over 2" last summer LOL. We do have dragonflies that resemble Hugheys though!

We rode two up pulling our little home made trailer packed with camping gear all over the place and it was fine...but...we were both likely 30 lbs. lighter then in our younger years LOL ..and so goes
life hey. :) I could have bought a matching custom trailer for my
LTD last week for a good price but at 65 yrs old motels are good,:)
I thought seriously about it though I'm fiesty and in pretty good shape for the shape I'm in LOL.
