i have a 1989 gl. the on board air compressor wont work. anyone have an idea where i should look first.

Blown fuse??

jd you don't mention in what way you are trying to use the compressor. For the air shock the key has to at least be in the accessory position, to use the outlet in the right saddlebag, the key has to be in the park position.
