I have a 86 1200, and the fuel pump started making a clicking noise is this asign of it going bad and needing to be rebuilt,

Does it do it at start up only?

no it dose it the whole time its running,,, goes click click click every few seconds

It might be going bad, it's normal to do it at start up,
