Feel free to laugh, my wife certainly did.
i pulled a "rookie" mistake.
While removing and reinstalling the left saddlebag on my bike last weekend, i disconnected the release cable on the latch inside the saddlebag.

Once i had things put back together, or so i thought, I closed up the bag and only then realized I had not reconnected the release cable to the latch assembly.:eek:

Now I am stuck with a locked bag, containing my cold weather gloves, and no idea how to get into it.

I know there has to be a "Guru" out there somewhere with an inside track on the finer art of accessing this saddlebag without pulling out the hammer and chisel.

So i throw myself upon the mercy and wisdom of those with the knowledge and common sense i seem to lack.:D

Can someone help??

Hey, that's an easy one! In your trunk there are two plugs, one on each side, pop out and there is a manual button to release bags on both sides. I've made way dumber mistakes... !
