Rode the bike from Oceanside to Malibu over the weekend (beautiful ride). I have a show chrome TPMS on the bike. I run 36 psi in front and 41psi in rear as recomended. I have brand new Dunlop elites on the bike.
I set the pressure in the morning when tires are cold and check them religously with a good guage. The TPMS is usually within .5 psi of the guage. When riding the pressure goes up to 41 psi in the front and 52.5 in the rear and alarms. I can adjust the alarm to go off at higher psi but dont want to.
Does anyone know what the max psi is? What the safe limit is on the high end after the tires heat up?

Tires have a min/max range but I'm not sure what the upper range is. If you set the tire to whatever the book says for cold PSI you should be okay when the tires heat up.

I had a TPMS on my 08 and I had to turn the max up, 41 max is to low a setting for the front, if should be 38 or 39 with the E3's cold and rear 40 to 41 cold.
