The Scout IV is a versatile, comfortable jacket that has become the premier leather jacket in Firstgear line of motorcycle clothing. For cold weather, the included Thermoliner is a full-length affair that buttons into the inside of the jacket and includes a stow-able Thermoneck, neck liner that’s effective at prevent wind getting into the jacket from around your neck. For the opposite end of weather conditions, the jacket has four large vents, two on the front and two on the back for moving air over the torso to keep you comfortable on hot days. There’s also a ventilation scheme at the end of each arm which draw air up the arms and out the back.

Then there’s the storage aspect - lots of it. Flanking the main zipper at either side, are two large, multi-compartment panels that offer plenty of room for cell phones (yes, plural), maps, sunglass, goggles – everything. There’s also a nifty key lanyard that stretches so you can turn the ignition of your bike on without having to detach the key.
