: Bluetooth for my 87 Goldwing?

I bought an 87 Goldwing Interstate last summer. I would like to hook up some kind of communication system . The guy at the local Honda store says it should have one already in it - he said he's never seen a Goldwing without one. If it's their - I don't see it. The repair manual indicates that the Aspencade has one - but doesn't mention it for an Interstate. I would like to have a system that my wife & I could talk with each other and possibly would link with my Tom Tom Gps unit - but I am wondering if bluetooth is worth the cost? Or should I go wired and can a wired system be retrofitted into an 87? What helmets would work best - keeping in mind I need a 3x size. Any info would be appreciated Thanks , Ed in Ohio

if your tomtom is bluetooth capeable you can get scala brand headsets

I have a TOM TOM Rider 2 and Scale-a-rider blue tooth intercom. My phone and the headset link with the tom tom. The scale a rider has an awsome noise canceling mice and the VOX works well. I can also plug an mp3 player into the Scale-a-rider and so can the passenger.

Thanks for the info. I went to the local Honda dealer - they were trying to sell me Chaterbox bluetooth. From what your saying - the Scala works better? I don't want to buy the Chaterbox if I'm just going to have problems.
