The Dunlop Elite 3 seem to have R version, B version & HB version.

SWMotoTires has these
130/70 HB 18 and 130/70 R18
160/80 HB 16 and 160/80 R18

WingStuff has 130/70 18 (no letter)
and 160/80 B16

I'm trying to figure out which is which or if there is any difference & what I need to order. Anyone know about these designations?

I'm pretty sure that the B=Bias, R=Radial and on the HB I think they may have combined the H speed rating with the B for bias. I can find no mention of a HB designation on Dunlop's web site (http://www.dunlopmotorcycle.com/fitmentguide.asp).

Not sure the 130/70 R18 would work on your front as Dunlop says it needs a 3 1/2" rim (http://www.dunlopmotorcycle.com/tirecatalog_tire.asp?id=91) while the bias of the same size needs a 3" rim (http://www.dunlopmotorcycle.com/tirecatalog_tire.asp?id=86). And if it does fit, you'd have to run a radial on the front and a bias on the back because they don't offer a radial in the recommend size for the rear.

Thanks for the info - it confuses me. On this SWmoto tires site it has the 160/80 R16 but it does say GL1800 next to it. I think Bias is what I've had in the past so I will stick with that
