Hi all. Went to a dealer today who gave me what I think is a good deal. It's for a '09 ABS. The price is 22k and a great trade on my bike an 06 Roadliner. My question is, is the ABS feature worth it? and is the 09 for 22k a much better deal then a new 08 for 20K? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

I'd rather go for an '08 ABS for $19.3K and save a few $K's. Show the dealer the prices at www.abernathycycles.com. The first curve you hit with gravel you will say: - It was worth it!!
Good luck and let us know how did it go

That's a great price. However the shop here offered me what is essentially retail on my bike which works out to just a small difference between the 08 and 09 factoring in the expense of picking it up in Tenn. Thanks for the info I'm going to order it tomorrow for delivery March 15. Quite exciting.

I gave about 17.2 for my new '08 (could have got black for 16.9) + tax title and licence. But mine is only the Premium Audio (state 1).
Thanks to all, It's ordered and I'll get it beginning of March. I've had several bikes but I can't remember looking forward to one as much as this one, (well maybe the first one).

Congrats to you!!! Tell us, did you order the '09 at $22K or you got it lowered??
I got it lowered to $21750 but he was 2400 higher then anyone else on the trade. Overall I don't think I could have done better anywhere else and I don't have to travel.
