I had new tires installed yesterday....when I went to open my Lt. side box it wouldn't.
feels like the release cable? isn't connected....anyone ever had this happen....or know how or what to look for.....

in the bottom of the trunk are releases for the bag, should have a plug covering the releases and i think you'll need a screwdriver

Follow detdrbuzzards advice, sounds as the mechanic didn't reattach the cable.

Thank you both....seems I knock/pulled the cable off the latch when I pulled my bag out when I dropped my bike off that am....Felt like a fool...but the mech....were very nice and glad to help..they build custom Boss Hogs and....and I did learn abt the emergency release.....so it was all good...
