Hey guys, sorry to post this here under general but i don't have just one question...since my last post i have been riding a fare amount. As usual, trying to figure out why i waited till my 40's to start this. However, here is something i have learned about my 83 wing and wonder if you can help me out.

There is a hole in the right exhaust header. Exhaust is leaking out before the aftermarket slip on's. How serious is this and is the only way to fix it is get a new header or can this be fixed. I ran the gas mileage and it is getting around 35 mpg. Is this good or bad?

I can smell raw gas coming from the engine. i was told that it needed to be re-jetted since it hasn't been done once the slip on mufflers were put on. It actually runs pretty good but I can tell something isn’t right.

Any advice?

your milage should average in the mid 40. i would look into replacing the headers and don't forget the exhaust gasket and having the carbs rejetted and synced
