I have a 93 1500A and wondered about a 170/70/16 on the rear.Has anyone tried this or will it even fit, I know it's close fitting in there.I like to through this one around a bit an thought it might quicken up the response being as they run a 70 on the nose. Thanks

if it will fit the bike will feel either the same or slower steering not quicker. wider tires take more time to move. it's the width of the tire not the height

I don't know why you would want to up size the rear tire on a 1500. Most are doing it on the 1800's to correct the speedo error.
