hello and welcome to goldwing owners forum, try a lighter weight oil and keep the bike as warm as possable

Two different way to approach this, first choke the bike all the way and don't use the throttle, if that doesn't work, don't choke it and turn the throttle about 3 or 4 times and let it go back and hit the starter button and let it alone until it warms up. That way worked on my 98 SE when it was cold outside.
