:confused:I have a 96 Goldwing 1500 and have a air or vaccum leak under my intake. I sprayed starting fluid under intake and it runs better. Can anyone tell me what it could be and how is the best way to get to it.

My 90 1500se had the same problem. It seems that if for some reason the bike ever backfired the resultant pop can separate the the rubber isolator that is between the carb and the manifold giving a vacuum leak. Advice was to pull the air filter and box and then attempt to put the separated carb and connectors back on the manifold. Check an aftermarket manual for carb removal and you should get an idea about the amount of work. 3-5 hours according to a dealer mechanic. Good luck
