I have a 1980 gl1100 and I can only one coil to put out spark. I have tested the goils on another bike and there fine. I am stumped and would greatly appreciate any help.

hi joe. my guess would be pulse coils bad. try changing the leads from one coil to the other coil an check the dead coil for spark. if you have spark its the pulser. they are located on the rear cover of the engine.
