I just installed an '88 1500 Goldwing (minus front fork) in the back of my Tri-Magnum 3 wheeled car. Most of the time it runs Great - Sometimes while cruising the engine stops but will instantly re-start if I just touch the starter button. I seems like instantaneous power to the starter (before the starter even engages) is recycling something electronically, allowing the engine to run. This problem happens in any gear, at any throttle setting, and engine temperature. The good part is that it always re-starts. Any ideas to isolate this problem would be really appreciated.

hi mmotorsports. clean the contacts on the kill switch, a pencil eraser works well if not to burnt.

There is no kill switch and all other cut outs (Kick stand, Clutch, etc.) have been bypassed.
This is an inconsistent problem that is overcome by just a touch on the starter button. Power through that circuit must reconfigure something in the ignition system.

I don't think so - Are there more than one? Is there a way of bypassing it?? Does power to the starter circuit re-set it???
