My 1500 gl just started acting like it didnt want to go all the way in 4th gear sometimes and now when i am in 4th and throttle heavy it want to jump out of gear and does until I let up on the accelerator. An now when it is idling in neutral it sounds like it is trying to go in gear on its own. It also rattles when you let up on the throttle in 1st or 2nd or 3rd gear. If it is the shifter how hard is it and how long does it take to put it in.

hi john. sorry but your trans is in bad shape. started with a bad or bent shift fork an has progressed to a couple of bad gears. major tear down, cases split. good luck
