What all is involved in replacing head gaskets? I would appreciate any input. My bike is down and it is just about perfect riding weather.

Depends on why gaskets blew out. I lost oil due to unnoticed valve cover puncture. overheated and ouch. Replaced gaskets and they went again. I didn;t check for trueness of head, so now I get to redo them. I also belive my water pump isn't working properly. Just a few things to think about.
