my dad just bought an 03 gl1800 trike, he told me he was riding it and the fuelinjection light came on and at or around the same time the speedometer quit working, the light goes off when he kills it but will come back on when he gets going again. anyone have any ideas to what it may be would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Are you talking about the F1 light? If you count how many times it flashes, long and short flashes that is a code on whats wrong and it is listed in the manuel. 2 short 1 long, 1 long 3 short etc. The speedometer could be the reason the F1 light is on.

i had the same thing happen today. everything is still working fine, no power loss or speed. what could it be>?
