Hello. I just added a TPMS to my bike and wondered where the upper limits should be set? Running 36 PSI in the front and 41 PSI in the rear. while riding the front goes up to 39 and the rear gets as high as 49.

The 09 comes with a TPMS, whe did you add one? I have one on my 08 I don't think the high limits is very important but you want it high enough that it won't keep going off when the tires heat up from normal road heat, I think I have mine set at 50 PSI for high and 30 for low, I run 40 front and 42 rear cold.

Max pressure is 41 cold rear, 36 cold front. Cant find any info on max pressure when hot.
I added the TPMS because it gives me actual pressure. The one that came on the bike just warns you when pressure is getting low.

I have an 09 with factory TPMS and my understanding is that the tire pressure monitoring is simply a low pressure alert. I have the same thing on my Murano. There is no settings that you can adjust as far as I know. The one thing that mine does is stays blinking for about 1/2 hour after I start riding. When i picked it up at the dealership it was on but there was only 1 km on the bike and the salesman said it needed to be re-set by driving. We checked the tire pressures and they were OK. I now have 500 km on it and it still takes about 1/2 hour to quit blinking.
Does anyone have the same symtoms?

thats because you're shouldn't add air to a " hot " tire
