Hi Folks

The gear shifter seems a little loose. Upon checking the shaft end play seems fine (in and out) However, the radial play (up and down as well as side to side) seems to be pretty loose in comparison to the endplay. What are the specs on this?

Is this normal? I would not think so?

Anyone have any suggestions or experience with oils that seem to help the trans run quieter? The info I found on the net says only use SE, SF and FG oils but I could not found ANY:confused:with these designations, even at wollyworld which had a whole lot to choose from.

What about an oil which you have found to make the trans whine quieter?
I've heard AMSOIL has made this whine quieter and easier shifting?

I use AMSOIL in my jetski's and have been happy so for.

check the bolt that locks the shift pedal on the shaft, what fluids are you refering to

Its the shaft it self not the shifter. Its the radial endplay of the shifter shaft.
