looking for 1985 goldwing taillight sensor.
lost all my lights and the engine will not run

hello and welcome to GWOF tommy. how did you figure that the taillight sensor ( what ever that is ) is keeping the engine from running? look on the starter solinoid for the dog bone fuse and pull the left side cover and check the rest of the fuses.

I guess I don't know for sure. It said that in the repair manual if the tail light light on the dash comes on that the sensor needs to be replaced.
When the bike died that is what happened. All my tail lights went out, the light on the dash came on and the engine died.
I will check the fuse on the starter and let you know if it has blown.
