Home at last, we had a total of 4867 miles covered and the Goldwing RULES. I had little to no problem with my back. My son has a Yamaha FZ6 "Sports-touring" ya right. He complained about it the whole trip. The trip was great as was the riding. We spent time the mountains in California and highway 1 from Morro Bay to SF. Great riding with lots of curves. We got hailed on in Elko, Nv and rained on in WY, NE, and SD so basically the last 3 days of the trip. It wasn't a really a problem with the right riding gear. I'm ready for another trip, but my son said he will not do that again unless he has a Goldwing. Well, happy riding to all.

I have been up and down the California coast many times, It's always a great ride.

Rode from S.E. Tx to Santa Margarita,Cal. From there to Wash State, the west coast is beautiful. The people are really nice,too.
