anyone know how to clean the little sight glass oil check window??? i have changed the oil and it has been warm 3-4 times now, but still cant c the wiper cleaning the window...

look under the window there is a screwdriver slot, turn it. it is attached to a wiper to clear the glass

i have worked the wiper , still cant see anything...

I have the sam problem with my '76 GL100 LTD. I am considering adding an aftermarket dipstick so I can keep up with the oil.

As oldgold says, I always had a after market dip stick and it worked great on my 79 1000 GW & my 82 GL1100 GW. This also prevented me getting on my knees.

go to jc whitney and click on motorcycles then lookup parts for your bike. it will take you to a link for all parts for your year wing
