So California figures that a life is worth 6 years....Not near enough time...Sad story in 2 ways. A death and virtually no punishment. Boo California.. Isaac

So how is deliberately attacking someone with a motor vehicle "involuntary manslaughter?" It must have been a plea deal.

Goes to show you the leniency of California laws.
The driver that injured (not killed) a rider and passenger in Texas in 2015 was just sentenced to 15 years for aggravated assault.
The story is here on the Motorcycle.com website.

I have to agree with Bob. How does road rage translate to involuntary? I bet the victim's family was not allowed to speak during the plea bargaining?

Ride often. Ride far. Ride safe and do much more of both.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach him how to surf the GWOF and he won't bother you for weeks, months, maybe years.
Remember, women always have the last word in an argument. Anything you say after that will be the beginning of the next argument.

Wheels of Justice? Yeah right. More like a conveyor belt to freedom with free room and board for a very short time. CPO got a life sentence.

As an observer from another country (Australia)their always seems to be something different with the way your country treats its criminals.
She caused it intentially
She meant to do it
She intentially did it
Murder is murder
End of story

Lot of idiot cagers on the road out there, including bikers. In this case it was pure malice, with this young woman that made bad choices that led to a tragic death of a fellow rider. As far as I'm concerned she got off easy.
