Perhaps you need a harder surface that would even the load. Your left side and right side compression may be unequal. Try a folded towel under the cheek side that hurts.

Pain is one reason I spent so dang much money on a custom seat for our '08.

Gordo, the seat is sculpted slightly different on the 2012 versus your old bike, farther back a bit if I'm right. I thought it was marginally better than mine ('09) but that's a subjective thing. I'd consider a seat upgrade if I was you, Russell, Hartco, Ulitmate etc. I know it's costly but it's cheaper than another bike...

Gordo, do you carry your wallet in a back pocket. If so try carrying it in a front pocket. I was very uncomfortable till I started carrying my wallet in my right front pocket and not sitting on it. Can't hurt to give it a try.

Seems to me that the 2012 seat is actually further forward than my 2004. I noticed that on my first trip. Either Honda wanted to give the passenger more room, or to get the driver in a more upright position. One thing i did notice is I don't get the neck pain on the '12. My Airhawk takes care of the other end.

I seem to recall you being ok before you got our AirHawk ripped off. Maybe a replacement is in order if you didn't already do that. Do you still have the link that I sent you from the seller? Txt me and I can resend if you need.

And NO, the warranty is expired.

It's not his cheek Princess, it's his BUTT that hurts.

Its prolly due to the CT.
