How does a Gold Wing hold up?

Does anyone have a Gold Wing with over 60000 miles? And how does the Bike hold up after that many miles? I currently have a 2005 VTX1300C and am interested in moving up to a Gold Wing but I can't afford a new one.

Thanks,
Tony

I have 2012 with over 66000 miles. Not even a glitch. Change your fluids on time and air filter. That's all. Love that machine.

I had a 1996 GL1500SE that I sold about 2 years ago to purchase a (new to me) 2008 GL1800-HPNA. When I sold the 1500 it had 210,000 miles on the odo (all mine) and to my knowledge it is still on the road gathering miles! My 2008 was purchased with 3300 miles and is currently at 27,000+ miles.

Just went over 210000 miles after a 1700 mile three day trip to pick up fireworks on my 2006 gl1800. I expect that if I hold up i will see the bike hit 300000 miles. Betting I give out before the bike does.

I purchased my 2010 new in November 2009. (Last year that they were constructed in Ohio.) I have 105,600 on it so far and we have been to 33 states. It won't be my last bike, but I'll own another. Not sure when, but this one will get replaced one day.

I traded my 85 with 87,000 for my 2004. Traded my 2004 with 97,000 for my 2012.A s far as I know (asked my dealer) only the 2004 had a problem, broken throttle cable 2 years after the new owner had it.
I think the 85 is still going strong.

I sold my 98 SE in 2015 with 85k miles on it, bought it in 2008 with 24k miles on it. Other than tires and oil, the only repairs was an alternator, a battery, brake pads, and a speedo cable. The only reason I don't still have it, my wife gave me permission in 2015 to get a new motorcycle, so now I ride a 2013 gold wing, bought it with 16k miles and it now has 36k miles and only tires, oil, plugs, and the brake recall. Cared for, you can't wear out a Goldwing.
